custom ordered the m2 after a week of not hearing anything call and was told this was a customized order and it takes up to 10 days, 10 day later i called and was told they were still working on my order not sure what the hold up was but should be ready soon. called 12 day in and was finally told that my carbon fiber frames was on back order and that was the hold up. my frames have been on back order and had been on back order for a while now. asked why the other reps had not told me this and he had no idea.

Brutal system on the Canadian site. Ordered three pairs of custom sunglasses, waited the 15 days for them to be built and then shipped. After the 15 days I went to check order status online and the order was cancelled. No email, no phone call. Gave their customer support a call and they said that one of the glasses oakley icon colour wasn't available and instead of calling me asking what I'd like to switch it to, they just cancelled the whole order. They said that their system can't see what items are in stock or not, so you just have to hope for the best when ordering. How hard is it to link your inventory database to your custom build website UI. Get yourself some useful developers oakley, you mark up the glasses enough to afford it.

Oakley is a scam. Bought a pair of polarized Half Jacket during Spring 2015 for $140. I was told if I spend another $10, I'd get a coupon to save $40 from 6/1 - 7/something. Cool I thought. Now I check Oakley website, they jack up the price on everything. The same sunglasses I bought is now $180. Be careful about those promotions!

We are very disappointed in this company. We were sent the wrong sunglasses. We emailed them and even sent pictures of the wrong glasses. Their response was "sorry that happened. We can give you 10% off of your next purchase." So now we have 3 pairs of sunglasses that look like kids glasses.

-I am very disapponted knowing that Oakley is not accepting services on my Oakley Juliet and Romeo models in Oakley Mall of Emirates in Dubai and in Oakley Al Whada Mall Abu Dhabi. I bought those expensive sunglasses with lifetime warranty anywhere on it, why now they're saying its all phase out and says Oakley STOP the service? Is this the worth of buying a very expensive sunglasses will last only for 5 years?

The actual prices are significantly higher than what is listed on the website. I wanted to buy a pair of wiretaps that were listed for $200 on the website. When I called, the person I spoke with explained that they were actually $250. I said that was dishonest and false advertising. She said that Oakley designs their website that way on purpose so "it will load faster". Wow.

Of course, she refused to honor the price that was listed on the website.

Got a pair of Oakley polarize sunglasses about 2 years ago. Sent it in for lense relacement 8 months after, due to the coating on the lense, which kept peeling off on the front portion of one lense.
Recently, noticed both lenses are gradually peeling off on the back portion. Took really good care of them, kept them out of the sun etc. Really like these sunglasses. However, I will never ever, purchase another pair of Oakley sun glasses. I encouraged my family to do the same.
I think your glasses are over priced, and of poor quality.

I placed an order for a set of goggles on 12/15 with an annotation on their website that they were on back order with an estimated ship date of 12/17.

Great, I thought, plenty of time to get them for my son's ski trip. Order confirmation indicated the 12/17 shipping ETA.

On 12/17 I received and email that says the backorder anticipated ship date is NOW 1/15. WTF?

I look at the web site every day since and the information changes to the current date + two days for the back order/anticipated ship date. Yeah, Oakley, I have screenshots.

THIS IS HUGELY DECEPTIVE AND A HORRIBLE WAY OF enticing people to place an order based on a FRAUDULENT expected ship date. I expect better from a major corporation like Oakley. THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I emailed them and NO SURPRISE, no reply.

My order status says "In Progress" with a 1 Business day shipping.

I bet I don't even get to take advantage of their Give More, Get More promotion as a result of their FRAUD.

If this does not get resolved to my satisfaction, I WILL NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN AND WILL FILE WITH THE BBB for their deceptive business practices.

Terrible product and very poor service based on a clear and definitive manufacturer defect. I will never buy from Oakley again in the future. They told me they didn't even have the ability to confirm my product registration on their website. I bought a pair of the TwoFace glasses, the plastic part of the frame and lens are in perfect condition yet the metal section (below lenses) has completely corroded and what was one the look of aluminum is now blue, green, and copper looking. I called the only number they have listed online, the first 5 times I tried to reach them I got a "We are experiencing system problems" and the line would go dead. hours later, I was getting nothing but a busy line, then finally spoke with someone who less then helpful after waiting on hold for 30 minutes. NEVER again will I buy such a poorly made product from a terrible company like Oakley.

Got a pair of sunglasses with additional lenses included. Went to swap the lenses out to find that the extra pair are both of the same kind, ie both right lenses! Called customer service to warranty them and was basically told to find a retail outlet and go to them. Not very helpful considering the representative told me that I might not get them replaced anyway. But wait! I can always buy some others! No thank you... He asked what model the lenses were for, just to check if they have the lenses online and told me that they don't... except I looked myself on the retail website and found the exact same ones, for the same model of frame etc. Fairly incompetent and unhelpful. Kind of sad how far Oakley has fallen.

Oakley Warranty is terrible. They use the standard "abuse" clause for everything. My local Factory Oakley store said it was definitely a problem with the carbon fiber ear arm. Definitely a warranty issue. Of course after a month waiting on the Oakley Warranty department, they stated abuse. They were not even nice on the phone. But were happy to offer 25% towards a new Oakley purchase. No thanks. I was burned once, not again. The Jupiter Factory Lites are terrible glasses.

A gentleman named Dakota was unbelievably helpful. I didn't even call the right department, and I don't think he had a clue what I was calling about, but he got me to the correct department and couldn't have been more gracious.

Posted by Bubba Watson fan

I recently purchased a golf shirt and shorts and a tennis shirt for my husband's birthday. We had seen Bubba Watson wear the shirt at the Masters golf tourney which is how we became aware of the product. Within three weeks and 4 wearings of the shorts by my husband, the pocket looked like it was 5 years old, with a very worn look, almost like we had taken velcro and put it on and pulled it off several times.
My husband went back to the Oakley store in Chinook Centre in Calgary to get a refund and was told that he could not since "it was not in its original condition". That being the point of the return in that the product was obviously of poor quality. He was told to deal with the main office. When he asked for the contact info of that office he was told they didn't know it. For heaven's sakes they work in the Oakley store.they were very rude and unhelpful. Not once did anyone say they were sorry about the problem.
When he contacted the Canadian head office, he was told they only deal with stores in their area - Quebec.
Bottom line, he ended up getting a refund after spending a lot of time contacting people. I had to return the shorts to the original store where again, no one apologized at all. This is terrible customer service. He had no apology. No discount coupon to encourage him to go back to store. Just rudeness and lack of caring. I will never go back to that store nor buy Oakley products again. I plan to write to Bubba Watson to inform him of the poor customer service of his sponsor. Maybe he might care.
We belong to a premier golf club in Calgary and we plan to inform the buyers about our issue and not to buy Oakley clothing and we'll be warning anyone we golf with about this poor customer service.

This was a defect in the material the shorts are made of and the problem occurred with normal use of golf shorts i.e. putting tees in the pocket.

I'm too frustrated to write the entire story, but sent glasses back for warranty issue. Frame backordered and they had no idea when it would come in. Now can't even get my glasses back. Worst customer service i've experienced in a very long time.

Oakley is a very hard company to work with the have forever backorders that turn into unable to get. Poor inventory management and their reps are a joke.

I am very dissatisfied with the customer service of Oakley, I sent my glasses in which were out of warranty and was willing to pay the service fee to have them fixed. I gad purchased a aftermarket set of lenses that I installed in the glasses myself. They returned my glasses without any notification and refused to work on them because they did not have oakley oem lens. I still have the oem set which if I was informed would have installed them ..regardless of all of this crap.I was willing to pay for a service what difference does it matter I wasn't asking for anything free, I will just use the miney to purchase non oakley glasses..what a joke..

Customer service is evidently trying to push new sales instead of replacing bad designed glasses.

I bought some oakley sunglasses in early December and was soon told the materials wouldn't be available for 3-4 weeks. As it was intended as a Christmas present I was disappointed but continued with the order because it was close to Christmas. I emailed to check my order and was told that my payment was denied and therefore the sunglasses were never made! So when were they planning to tell me this? If not for my email, I doubt I would have been contacted to discuss this issue. Such poor customer service.

I have never posted a negative comment online about a company but Oakley has really disappointed me. I have been a loyal customer for 20+ years and my latest purchases have all but failed me. I purchased 2 pairs of nanowires costing $300/each and the lenses cracked. Customer service could have cared less and made no attempts to resolve the issue aside from a 25% discount on a future purchase. I will never buy another Oakley product ever again and plain on discarding every pair that I have.

The detachable framed sunglasses I bought for $160.00 USD suck and have malfunctioned multiple times resulting in the glasses lenses hitting the ground and the lenses becoming scratched. I wrote and called Oakley and to their credit I received a response rapidly. However, the customer service rep, who was cool, refused to do anything other than require me to jump through a shitload of hoops, including sending the glasses in to Oakley not for a replacement, but so the "forensics team" could decide whether or not the glasses had malfunctioned, thereby requiring me to be w/ o any glasses at all fr up to 3 week. UNaccceptable. This will be the last item I will ever purchase from Oakley.

I have bought a lot of Oakley products and up until now have been completely satisfied. I spent over $200 on a pair of oakley polarized sunglasses and was in awe to discover the lense cracked from heat and sun in vehicle. I've always stood by ur produce until this recent discovery...I hope you stand by your product and can/will compensate for this disappointment encouraging my further customer purchases

Same problem as Ashworth; Oakley Fury temple broke at hinge-cannot repair, no warranty. Fury is no longer supported. Terrible situation for $240 eyeglasses. Only lasted 14 months. Trying to buy another pair (used) off ebay for $90, so then I can transfer prescription lenses and use them glasses awhile longer. But will not purchase another pair of Oakleys again after this!

I've been trying to return goods to Oakley for the last 2 weeks. According to their returns policy I need an RA number first, and they give two options. The phone number appears to be dead, and email is never replied to.

Anyone have another means of contacting them?

I guess they try to deter returns this way, I'm concerned in the end they'll say I'm out of time. Anyone find a way round this ?

Thanks

I purchased a pair of Jury Oakly sunglasses in the same month of their release for $250. The sunglasses were supposed to of extreme durability as described by the CEO on the company website (the frames were made of NASA O-Matter). The ear frames (not sure if this is correct term) were connected to the sunglass frames by a small piece of plastic. 10 months after my purchase, I was placing the glasses on my head and the small piece of plastic on the right side of the sunglasses broke rendering them useless and unwearable. I waited 3 months before finally calling Oakley for a repair. I didn't expect for Oakley to pay for the repair as it was past the 1 year warranty date (pretty short warranty for $250 sunglasses). I called and told a rep what happened and he informed me that this was a common problem with the Jury sunglasses and that they had been discontinued (or in other words their expensive sunglass model was defective). I expected him to say the repair was free seeing as how it was a defect....well the warranty for defects is only a year as well...BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER. So I expect that I will be paying about $50 for the repair however the representative then informs me that they cant repair the sunglasses because the they discarded all the repair pieces after the sunglasses were discontinued!Remember that I purchased right when the model was released so the company threw away all replacement parts before the warranty even ran out! So my 250 dollar sunglasses are worthless because of a 3 cent piece of plastic that the company decided they didn't want to hold replacement pieces in their inventory. Obviously I was furious so I asked to speak to a manager and was told that I couldn't but the rep would talk to him and see what he could do. I was foolishly still expecting that Oakley would take care of a loyal customer...the rep comes back on the line and says he can give me a 20% discount...to which I reply....WHAT KIND OF IDIOT WOULD WANT TO BUY ANOTHER PAIR OF YOUR S#@TY SUNGLASSES! THEY ARE PUT TOGETHER WITH CHEAP PARTS AND THEN WHEN THEY BREAK YOU CANT EVEN REPAIR THEM (FOR A STEEP REPAIR FEE BTW). So I will NEVER buy another pair of sunglasses from Oakley nor will anyone in my family or any of my friends or anyone that I have the chance to tell this story to. I am 22 years old and will be buying high end sunglasses for the rest of my life (I fly recreationaly and need them). Simple math 75-22=53 a pair of sunglasses every 3 years=17 pairs over my life 17X250= $4,250 of revenue lost and given to a competitor of Oakley. TERRIBLE COMPANY, CHEAP PRODUCT AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DON'T SUPPORT THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY AND DON'T DO THIS TO YOURSELF
