I bought a copy of Quicken (very expensive) over a year ago that was supposed to be useful for tracking rental properties. It didn't have what I needed most, a way to calculate depreciation. I found that out within 5 minutes of installing it. I immediately uninstalled it. and returned it the next day with the help of the Staples store I bought it from.

I followed all the rules, I deleted that version and went back to my Quicken 2009, which I am still using and which they are able to track. I have a signed delivery receipt so I know they received the return. I have copies of all the paperwork.

I never heard a peep from them and never received my money back. They are thieves.

In April 2015 I had a problem processing my payroll through QuickBooks I called for help and was told that I had to either pay a charge or for a little more I could upgrade to QuickBooks 2015 and they would do everything necessary for this upgrade. It sounded like a good deal to me, however, they set me up on a QB Cloud and not only does it not work right but the license number we just found belongs to another company. This is very distributing to me and I would like to go back to my original QuickBooks and get rid of the QBCloud but I can not find anyone who can tell me how to do this I really need help and QuickBooks does not offer this kind of help.

I have had problem after problem with quickbooks online. From setup to recurring invoices. The setup of quickbooks is super complicated and takes forever. I actually had to get help from my accountant to just decipher some of the lingo. The most recent issue is the recurring invoices. I set up my recurring invoices with a quickbooks associate, hoping that would insure success and save me some time down the road. I went along the first few weeks of the month not paying attention to my invoices because I was sure they went out. Little did I know, that even the associates that work at quickbooks don't know how to use the software. None of my invoices went out, which may cost me 1000's of dollars. I have employees to pay, overhead to plan for, ect. If I don't get paid in time my company can really suffer. To top it off, I have to wait on hold for an hour for the associate to research what happened. I have a company to run, I don't have time to wait on hold all day for something I paid to just work.

WORST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!!
I'm really disappointed in the service.

i have been a quick book customer for 15 years. i have bought a new version every few years on my own. today i came to work and my quick book didn't open. i called and they said i need to up grade to new 2016 version. i said why i didn't receive an email. the customer service who was from other side of the world and hard to understand got mad and said i should have know and there is nothing i can do. i must buy the new version on line and have them upgrade it for about 500 $. the price outside was 200
which i found out after i purchased. this company bullies you into buying the new version without giving you a notice. the supervisor was even ruder and worst

I demand the return of the $250 + damages charged to my account. Upon reviewing the information in this newly downloaded company file I find that the customer list was simply resorted. From the inception of this newer case, I made it clear that the issue was not a sorting issue. It was a configuration issue. One triggered by an attempt by your data services staff to fix a previous issue.

Intuit Data Services had our company file for 2 weeks and instead of returning a working file, returned a file in the same shape in which it was uploaded. We will not be utilizing the file that you have uploaded. Thus, we will have hours worth of work fixing the customer list that you guys messed up originally; as well as re creating sales orders that I told you were missing from the beginning.

I need this reimbursement of funds to take place immediately in order to avoid escalating this issue further.

TERRIBLE SUPPORT - We have had a few issues over the last 3 1/2 years using QB Pro for our company and Intuit OVERSEAS tech support is terrible. Surprisingly, it is actually worse than our wireless carrier now! On the latest issue, I am on my third call to Intuit in 2 days, over 2 hours on the phone with support and still no closer to a resolution. At our next license renewal, I am going to look for an alternative for our company. The software is ok, but the support is TERRIBLE!

I have been unable to work on a flawless company file since 01/15/16 which is when this ordeal began. I need to know the status of my company file, my customer list, and my distorted information. We have a business to run, vendors to pay, clients to bill, and I have not been able to do any of that accurately for 2 weeks now.



Someone needs to get back to me as soon as possible. This is unacceptable and I require an explanation.



By the way I have bought this program 02/2014.

I have never seen such horrible customer service! The people I spoke with were so incompetent, put me on hold for 5 hours and issue was never solved. Called a week later and they could not figure it out... They just kept on wasting my time. Spoke with a manager and he was clueless. Dealing with quickbooks customer service is so frustrating. I would not recommend anyone use this! Get it together. Provide training and have some professionalism.

Worst company ever in customer service!!!!!! All they do is apologize and then make matters worse. I tried to set up QB processing with them and when it didn't work they crashed my Quickbooks program and corrupted my data file. I was on the phone for 9 hours straight talking to 8 people total including 4 technicians who kept telling me it was fixed but my system kept crashing. They put me on hold for over an hour at a time and never resolved the issues. I still don't have the credit card processing and I spent another 2 hours today with a supervisor who still has done nothing.

Sadly our email associated with our QuickBooks account was hacked therefore we were locked out of our account, that was in October. Since then I have been locked out on 4 different occasions causing delays in company work and deadlines and I have spent HOURS on phone trying to get corrected. At this time I am yet again locked out and the verification/admin department is asking for every piece of company document (and then some) to verify my husband is owner and operator of business, some of which we are not even required to have in our state.

QuickBooks Online is perhaps the worst piece of crap software I've ever had the misfortune to use. Intuit has not only made it harder for my small business to succeed, it's actually cost me a small fortune in time and mishaps due to faulty programming, unresolved issues and the worst customer support I've ever experienced. If you're a small business owner do yourself a huge favor and go with FreshBooks.

I opened my small business in January 2015. I knew i needed accounting software and despite all of the new options with good feedback, i decided to go with what had been around longer. At the time, QB was bombarding my television with commercials claiming to understand/care about small businesses. I started with Quickbooks Pro (the online only version) and found that it lacked a number of features i would need. I spoke to Quickbooks customer support and they recommended Quickbooks Premiere Plus. I was ready to purchase the desktop version of Premiere and the support agent told me i should try Premier Plus online. She told me it was a subscription service and the only real difference was the technical support and the regular software updates. I said I didn't want to pay a yearly fee, but she said "don't worry, you can just cancel the subscription at the end of the year to discontinue technical support and regular updates but continue using the desktop software." After a year of using the product and entering thousands of hours billed, expenses and invoices, I got a reminder from the company to renew for $499. I did not want to continue with the cost just for tech support. In the couple times i tried to use it, i was put on hold for hours (literally) and then sent overseas to someone who was obviously looking my questions up online and then feeding me a canned response from a manual. The regular updates were not enough to justify the cost for this small company. When i called to cancel my subscription, i was told that if i do so, i will lose all ability to use the software i had paid for. BUT, they would sell me the desktop version for $350. THE SAME SOFTWARE I HAD TRIED TO BUY AND WAS TOLD I WAS BUYING. I asked to speak to a supervisor and 4 days later I got a call informing me that their policy had changed during the year and they do not intend to honor their original promise. I am now writing to this feedback section in hopes that it reaches the ears of whoever created those commercials from a year ago or who actually still believes in customer service. I hope you find it worthwhile to honor your promises and provide me with what i had intended to purchase originally. If not, i will post this story on every message board, Twitter and Facebook. More importantly, entrepreneurs are a small community. We all bond over the hurdles faced. If you decide to not honor your word, that is your choice, but every time i sit with someone who is about to start their own company, i will tell them this story. I am extremely disappointed, but hopeful that this is not how QB does business and that you will right what has occurred.

I have used quickbooks for over 15 years and now have an issue where I cannot send out invoices to customers. I spent over 2 hours while quickbooks customer sevice tried to fix the issue by going on to my computer. Did not work! They told me the would call me back and its been 2 weeks since. Terrible customer service! I have personally spent hundereds of dollars to email invoices from my personal date service.
I am going to go to another program as soon as I can!

Just renewed my payroll subscription for another year and spent 40 minutes on the phone activating the service I had already paid for. Now QuickBooks will not activate a service that is already paid for unless I give then a credit card. Brilliant, another company that can't protect it's data needs to have my card on file. After 15 year of using the software I have had enough. QuickBooks you have finally lost me as a customer. Even though it will require a new learning curve I am moving to Peachtree or another software provider as I have had it with QuickBooks and their "procedures". Now I am off to my bank to change my card number for security reasons.

I can not deal with another 45 minute conversation with QuickBooks Payroll support just to get my problem across. 45 minutes just for them to understand what my problem is!!! I have called three times in the last month dealing with various payroll problems because my client switched from a third party payroll processor to QuickBooks. Each time I called the agent on the other line repeated my statement over and over and over and over. I used to be a QuickBooks pro advisor and have direct United States contacts that would 100% of the time answer my question in 10 minutes or less. The last call to QuickBooks in the Philippines? the agent commented on my beautiful voice and and found me attractive. DO I HAVE TIME FOR THAT!????

How many clicks to process a routine transaction ? Does INTUIT get it? Why did they add the totally unnecessary email verification step recently? Don't they ever talk to actual users to see what bugs them?
Are we captive to the programming geniuses who get no customer service direction?

Finance is one of the most important department of any business. With all the faith, you migrate your entire books and future estimates on this software. As an organzation we understand how crucial this decision is but does team QuickBooks understand? It was all good till the day we faced a small bug which doesn't allow us to generate new estimates. What would you expect from the technical team of QuickBooks? Resolve it as soon as possible... Forget about the solution, I was talking to this agent called 'Vishwajeet' who clearly told me ' I can't help you untill backend resolves it' and when I said 'should I use QuickBooks for my future business?' He said, "It's your call if you still want to use it" Forget about helping the client and assuring him quick resolution. The technical support speaks with full attitude that "I don't know when it will get resolved". Very Rude and blunt reply. I did not expect such kind of support from a company who has such an important responsibility. Instead of giving true assurance to the client, all you get is a rude reply from the agent. Now we are stuck here.. helpless... thinking of other options. QuickBooks you have lost future business from our company. We will never recommend it to our clients too. We might be a small business for you, but do respect all your clients.

I have bought 3 copies of quick books. 2 copies were for mac computers and within 90 days of one another. The 3rd copy I tried to install on my mac desk top computer did not work, so I called and they told me I need to buy the online version. They said to mail the 2 copies back and they would refund my money so I would have the money to buy the online version. They sent me an email on where to send the cd's and the receipts to, but they did not refund my money and they kept the cd's. I need to buy the online version so I can use my quick books for the 3rd quarter taxes for my business. Please help me fix this. all I need is the online version downloaded to my desk top computer. I am not even worried about the money at this point. Thanks, Joe Dunmyer Please call
