I visited your store in Fishers, IN on East 96th Street on December 21. I happened to walk just as the moment of silence began for the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy in Newtown, CT. I was very politely told by one of your employees that they were observing the moment of silence as broadcasted by network news stations. They stood quietly and waited for the 26 bells to be sounded. In this day, most people seem to be too busy for showing respect like this. I was reminded of that by the FedEx guy that bounded in and seemed oblivious to what was going on even after pausing to look at us and the TV. Your employee showed leadership by very quietly asking the FedEx to wait until the moment passed. I believe the names on their name tags were Jarelle and Q. I thanked both of them, but I certainly think these young men should be commended for putting first things first.

My husband and I visted your store in the GREENBAY-EAST TOWN #01-6291 EAST TOWN MALL 2350 E MASON ST SUITE 44 GREEN BAY, WI 54302 and we wanted to tell you about the wonderful service we received. We were helped by an associate named Ernie. Ernie had to have been one of the nicest, no pressure salespeople we have ever met. He was very helpful and we felt very comfortable dealing with him. I am sending this to a corporate mailbox and I hope his awesome service will not go unnoticed. You have a great employee on your hands! Keep up the good work!

I purchased 2 Iphone 5 on launch day at your store. Taz was the sales associate with AMAZING Customer service.

Working with you has been a pleasure, an excellent example of how to create good customer relations.

I'm glad to hear that you followed to fix the issue there was with the value of my phone. Most associates would have not made the right decision.

And thank you for being cognizant of the time I have spent on this; with my current job status my Iphone is very important to me and you made me feel as though my own Iphone was as important to you as it was me.

I hope your next customer encounter won't be as troublesome and time-consuming as this has been, and again, thank you for your prompt responses, patience, and courtesy.

All the best to you...

I had a guy named Dale helping me in the Radio Shack in Windsor, CT. He was super helpful and very knowledgable. He gave me great service when I was buying a new phone and it's service. I appreciate his work and will consider going back there for other items, due to the great treatment I received.

I am from Ohio and recently was in Roseville Minnesota for business.

Upon arriving at the airport I found my Garmin GPS map system was not operating. Thus, I would have experienced problems in making my appointment the next day since I was not familiar with the area if it were not for your employees.

Upon checking into my hotel I found a Radio Shack located at 2480 Farview Avenue in Roseville Mn.

I drove to this location and your employees Mae and Dan met me at the door and inquired as to how they could assist me.

I advised them of my problem and gave them my GPS. They immediately began working on the GPS and eventually were succesful in getting the system operable for my use the following day.

As you know customers are very quick to critize and often good customer service goes unnoticed.

Please be advised that these 2 individuals exhibited courtesy and professionalism in resolving my problem. They were knowledgeable and helpful and took the x-tra step to assist me in my time of need.

I wanted to make certain that they were recognized for excellant customer service and a job "well done".

Please extend my sincere appreciation to these individuals, they are definitely an asset to your company.

If I resided in the area I definitely would return to the store if I ever needed assistance

Thanks again to Mae and Dan for a job well done

Farmingdale new York

I have been dealing with the airport plaza location of almost ten years. The staff there is very helpful. They help to find what I need and get it if it's not in stock. The manager there Steve is a wonderful. I have watched many times as he and his staff help customers. Obviously the corporation sets the rules but the crew there goes out of their way to make every customer welcome and feel like there is no better place to go to make your purchases. If the corporation and regional managers who are less then competent looked at that location as a model for customer service and customer loyalty radio shack would do much better throughout the country. Corporate should take notice of the extremely competent people they have and get rid of the regional managers who don't have a clue about customer service. Promote from within. Thats what makes any chain successful. My comments below are about corporate radio shack not the location I buy from very regularly. new York.

My husband and I went into the Waterfront Pittsburgh Radio Shack. There was a wireless specialist there, Craig Draper, and sales associate Eddie Jones; they sold us both phones, explained the bill in detail, and even showed us how to work the phones. We purchased two Samsung Galaxy S3 phones and couldn't be happier. After pitching their Zagg screen protectors and cases, Craig and Eddie also put the screen protectors on for us. Great customer service. Best sales experience we've had in a long time.

I want to acknowledge one of your employees, Desiree the store manager of your Danada Wheaton, IL location. I called the store first with a question and she said to come to store and she would help me with my phone issue. I went over and Desiree was there and she knows her stuff. Not only did she find what I needed she has excellent customer service skills. Desiree is a great representative of your company and I just wanted to say thank you!

I recently visited the radio shack New Haven Chapel Street branch and found that the clerk went above and beyond to help me when he didn't actually have to. I am visiting from the UK and had been lent an American pay as you go cell to use whilst over here. I originally went in to purchase some credit for the phone (which works a little differently in the UK) Seeing I didn't really know what I was doing the clerk put the credit on the phone for me and was very helpful in showing me how everything worked. Later it appeared that the phone appeared to have an outstanding contract and I was having difficulty making calls. Not knowing how to solve this I returned to the store where the same guy was on and was only to happy to help. He spent ages on the phone to the network provider sorting out the problem and insisted on testing the phone before we left to make sure everything was working, considering I didn't even buy the cell from radio shack I think this was more than would usually be expected. I also visited a branch in the Milford shopping all and found the female clerk who was alone, and in high demand for queries very helpful and welcoming. If i return to the US any time soon I will definitely use radio shack for all my electronic needs.

all of you must be going to really bad radio shacks, because I know the radio shack in hagerstown maryland would never treat customers that way. I have received all my money back on a gift card for every replacement plan I have ever purchased from there. There are many new employees and I would trust them again with future purchases.

I had a complicated task that nobody else was able to do except Radio Shack. AT&T does'nt even know or have the equipment on hand. I had to transfer my text messages from my Go-Phone to my computer so that I could print them up and send them to the Bar Association for disciplinary actions and for whatever else they are able to do on my behalf. I am so glad that Radio Shack had a mini usb chord and helped me transfer these inappropriate text messages from my phone to a flash drive. I had an awesome experience today! I would like to see the girl who helped me today at the store in Sawyer Heights in Houston Texas get a raise and a promotion.

Accessing the Internet by my mother's new cell phone proved to be a challenge, but Chris at the store in Conway, AR committed his afternoon to discovering the issue. As she had left the box at home, he could not allow us to get a new phone. Eventually, he found that the phone did not have adequate software updates and charged us nothing. Although he could have dismissed us, he demonstrated admirable customer service. He believed the phone itself was fine. Even though he did not have the responsibility of fixing her phone, he found that other people have had problems with the brand.

One word A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Radio Shack is honestly an amazing experience, from the minute I walk through the door I feel right at home. The employees are nothing but friendly, knowledgeble, caring, loving, wonderful individuals. They know everything about everything and are always able to help me with what I need. More than sales associates I consider them my loyal friends, i cannot be more happy with the servive they provide.

I wish to thank the salesperson Becky at the Linwood Square store in Indianapolis, Ind. This is the 4th time that this lady had taken care of out needs. She has taken the time to fix issues on our cell phones. She even took care of phones that we didn't purchase at Radio Shack. She is always cheerful and such a pleasure to have help us. We will continue to shop at this store as long as she is there.

I want to express my appreciation for Lehsa Asst manager for the Radio Shack at the Volusia Mall(Daytona Beach)'s excellent work. SHe is incredibly helpful to me with my new blackberry via verizon. Meanwhile she learned some things for the hard of hearing people. It took us to discuss on the plan, made some calls, etc.. Her personbility was so simple and friendly. SHe deserved a kinda praise..

I don't typically write these types of letters, but I want to comment on an experience I had at Store #01-2751 (Astoria-Ditmars location, 22-32 31st Street in Astoria, NY 11105). The employee Elease was incredibly helpful to me. I came into the store looking for a specific set of speakers for a client of mine (Gigaware 2.1 Multimedia speakers - http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3831915). The store didn't have any in stock because they happened to be on sale that week for $14.99. Elease proceeded to call various Radioshacks in the area to check if they had the speakers in stock...and all stores were sold out! She advised me to go to Radioshack.com and purchase the speakers, also advising me to have them shipped to the store to save on shipping and handling. She was very patient, courteous, and helpful (everything customer service SHOULD be). I was very impressed with how I was treated. I ended up buying 2 sets of speakers from Radioshack online.

I went to the Plaistow, NH Radio Shack to get two Smasung Stratophere phones and they were out of stock. The problem is - they began running a promotion on 2/5/12 for free phones with a two year contract and I was there on 2/6/12...NO PHONES AVAILABLE!!!

How can Radio Shack run a promotion and not have product in the store to sell to its customers...?

The salesperson said he would check his Thursday delivery and call me if he received any Samsung Stratophere phones, or he would call around to other stores to locate a couple if he could.

FYI, the salesperson (Richard) was very professional and helpful...it's to bad there's no support from regional managers, corporate, etc...

Very disappointed...SMG

I would like to commend an employee of Radio Shack, 5928 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA. Her name is EVELYN. She helped my husband and I purchase two new cell phones, activiated them for us, added minutes and smiled the whole time! She is a JEWEL. We are an older couple, so when we had to add minutes to our old phones, Evelyn was gracious and kind to us as well. Evelyn deserves a nod from her superiors and recognition for a job well done!

To whom it may concern

My name is Etaferahu Muluneh. I am writing is letter in regard of RadioShack phone insurance customer’s service. I purchased cellular phone with insurance from RadioShack store 3100 14th St NW Washington, DC 20010. On January 02, 2012 my phone scanner has different color lines, for that reason I cannot able to use the phone. January 3rd @ 8:23am, I called to RadioShack phone insurance customer’s service (1-800-433-5502) to explain about my phone scanner. I was on phone with one of your employee explaining about my phone and answering her questions. After 45 minuets she told me that she need to talk to one of RadioShack store employee and she gave me case number which is 22438712. Round 3pm I want to one of the RadioShack store 1161 University Blvde Langley Parke, MD 20787 and the employee help me to call the above customer service. The RadioShack store employee was on the phone with phone insurance customer service explaining about my phone, answering his questions and he told him that my phone was not damage. However, phone insurance customer service employee asked to speak with me and he told me that I am illegal for the coverage. I asked him why? He said my phone was damage and hung up the phone on me. I am 100% sure my phone is not damage. I am really disappointed about your phone insurance customer service employees. I really need replace phone. Here is my contact [email protected] and my phone number 2024873045
I am waiting to hear from you shortly,
Sincerely.

Your employee Jerry at Store #018308 went above and beyond in getting a solution to a problem. Trying to find batteries that you advertised, he ran into a very embarrassing problem: Every store that he contacted either claimed not to have the batteries even though they showed inventory of the product or refused to search to see if they actually had the product. He tried 5 different stores and did not get their cooperation.

We were able to find a solution that did not require me to drive 20 miles to pick up the batteries or wait 5 days to get them.

Jerry truly knows what Customer Service is about and reflects a good impression to me the customer. As a consequence I will continue to shop at Radio Shack

After several unsuccessful attempts via the internet to learn and understand the features, functions and cost of a newly needed cell phone, I stopped at Radio Shack (Store 3907 in Auburn, CA) as I was returning home from an appointment.

As I began to browse the extensive array of cell phone features, functions and cost that were displayed; the sales clerk came over and asked if he could help.

I explained my intended use of a cell phone and the features, functions and cost that I would require.

Following a brief exchange of comments, I had examined a few possibilities and had made my selection.

While the salesman was arranging for airtime and assembling and testing the cell phone, I was able to do some impulse shopping – and purchasing.

It’s nice to do business with a sales staff that is personable and knowledgeable and very helpful.

I left Radio Shack as a very satisfied customer.

I’ll be stopping at Radio Shack more often.

On 11/19/11, I did not make a purchase. However, I wish to say that the store manager Mark did a thorough job. This is for the store on West Avenue L in Lancaster.

Thanks Mark for taking time with me!
