I have flown at least 20+ times and have never experienced any problems except a 3 hr delay in DTW due to bad weather, I find the staff @ dtw very friendly and helpful. We fly the Fll and MCO and also Vegas a couple times 2 or 3 times each year. I find if I approach the counter with a smile and I am friendly, the courteousy is returned. The jave a job that is not easy and must always be efficient. I find that to be true. I always check Spirit before any other airline.
Way to go Spirit! The only thing I don't like is the 40 lb limit on checked bags, that extra 10 lbs maked a huge difference!

We took our Grandkids on their first vacation to Disney World this April. We flew out of Atlantic City airport on Monday April 11,2011 and it was a great flight for them since it was their first time in an airplane. They are 5 and 7 yrs. old. Our trip at Disney and a few other attractions were awesome and even the rental car we had and the resort we stayed at, we couldnt ask for better customer service and a great experience. The only part of the trip that upset me and my family was when we got to Orlando International Airport to check our luggage in, we were informed , instead or our flight leaving Orlando at 9:34 p.m. we were told by the luggage clerk that our flight was moved to 12:15 a.m.Now besides wondering why we didnt get a curtious call is beyond me and it was a big inconvience since we did have a 5 yr old little girl and a 7 yr old little boy, that had to literly sleep on the floor at the airport along with some other family members. And as I looked around we were not the only passengers sleeping on the chairs( to hard to sleep on) and the floor. Then to top it off we were then told again that the flight was moved then again to 1 a.m. Now I realize there are things beyond your control and things happen and you do your best to take the customers safety in consideration. But wouldnt it have been better customer service to give us a phone call and maybe we could take the kids and ourselves out to enjoy the rest of our vacation and not having to sit at an airport for 5 1/2 hrs. And just to let you know we did hear Spirit was offering a $50.00 voucher to everyone on the flight, with stipulations. $50.00?? Ironically, I called the day before to try and get an earlier flight home and the customer service rep told me for the 6 of us to fly out at 3:30 pm instead of 9:34 p.m. it would ONLY cost us another $750.00! Now how is it fair that you are willing to make us pay a seemingly high price to change our flight plan, but only want to give us a $50.00 fly voucher, not a %50.00 Visa giftcard or maybe a $50.00 gift card to a restruant or our choice. I think the person running your human relations should be more compassionate to your customers that were very inconvienced. I would appreciate and response. And again I was very happy with the flight it self and so was my family...everyone was very nice and courtous. I would be nice to give us something more then a voucher. Our confirmation number is D1MTPL.

No problem in our flight to Fort lauderdale, and then to Montego Bay. Same as when we returned. Spirit held the plane for us when customs was slow.

I had to use them because of my destination but they were great.
