I Recently Was Informed My Acct. Which Uses A Bank Issued Credit Card Did Not Have Sufficient Funds To Pay My Current Bill.

My Husband Went To The Bank Only To Find Money In The Acct. Good News I Guess?

It's A Good Cheap Phone Service, Still Not Easy To Reach A Real Person.

The Number I Was Given In An E-mail From Straight Talk To Tell Them When To Make The Deduction Turned Out Not To Work, And Info Was Geared If You Wanted To End Your Service Contract????

So I Went Through The Billing Area 0n Line And Paid My Bill. Hope This Does The Trick!

This is 2nd time of cancel' refund.If you do not refund ? I'll make FCC complain file with this copy by Nov'27th.Cancel date Oct'17th refund amnt:$12.59 at Oct'13h You did cheat customer (*need special devices,hi speed internet,etc)*I don't have any home ph.

This company provide no live support, the online site is not user friendly. The customer has to figure out the steps.

Save your money ! The quality of audio is very poor, with echoes, popping sounds, speech cut outs, sounds like you are talking on a walkie talkie. I tried changing locations of the modem, tried replacing all the cords, tried a new phone, and even called the cable company and subscribed to a faster internet with more bandwith, but nothing worked. So I decided to cancel my service and tried to port the phone number to another service. BIG Mistake ! Don't even try it, you will be told that it takes 7 to 9 business days to port the number. I tried calling Basic Talk to talk to customer support and they were very nice and curtious but there is nothing they can do, the porting of numbers are a different team that you can not contact and customer service will explain that there is nothing that can be done to speed up the process, just wait for 7 to 9 business days and they will assure you that it will be ported. Kinda odd don't you think ? Straight talk, basic talk, tracfone and some other are all part of Tracfone.

The service is cheap but remember, you get what you pay for! I have learned my lesson, and just wanted to warn anyone that is thinking about ordering Basic Talk. You have been warned, if you don't heed the warning, you are in for some headaches.

You get what you pay for. Had it for a year and the service was poor to say the least. When I cancelled, or so I thought, they pretty much refused to cancell me, as I had to call a second time and demand to be cancelled, just to find out they charged me again. Basic talk is a scam and a joke and a rip off. DO NOT GET IT!!!

You have no customer support . I can't get a hold of anyone as your messages just hang up on me. I am trying to change the credit card number that pays for your service each month. Your web site and phone messages both suck!!!!!! I guess I will wait until you contact me about payments as I am giving up on trying to contact you to update information. You needto realize that not everyone was raised with a computer by their side . Some of us older folks still remember how to talk to people! I was able to contact 4 other companies and update my credit card info in a matter of minutes. Most of them that still have humans working for them thanked me for my business. I feel that you people have flipped me off by phone. If you are interested in keeping me as a client , please contact me . I am accessible by phone or email. What a concept. I had them for a short time. It was next to impossible to cancel. Can never reach a live person. Charged my account without my authorization. Looking at a Class Action Lawsuit. Who wants in on it?

I am pretty upset, I can't get through to anyone live, it just tells me to go to Basictalk.com for all my questions, my problem is NOT on there. This is NOT customer service. If we can't get this problem worked out, we will need to drop Basic talk and go to a different company.

I been trying to cancel basic talk since march. They refuse to cancel me I change bank account numbers and they still found my bank account and took money out of my account. For March and April complain about it and they tell me they don't do refunds offered me a free month for may that I did not want and they still keep my phone on now it's the end of June. June 22cd. To be exact and I get another bill. I try to call the 855 number and its no longer in service. I need a lawyer. Or I got to call the FCC. Help me. Yours Lenny

I can canceled my service October 8th 2014 with your company and in April I'm still getting billed for a service I'm not using I don't even have the Internet at my house then when I call the employee says yes you cancel but we kept active and we sent an email are you serious I just told you I don't have the Internet cost me 80.00 for some thing I've not even used and no refund I'm calling the BBB and reporting you and I will tell everyone I know to never use this company thank you Teresa Owens

Horrible customer service, completely mislead and misinformed on several matters. Then they double billed me and refused to return the money. I cancelled and now several months later they billed 2 more charges to my card for a total of $45+. I have contested the charges as they were never authorized but if they are not refunded then I have been informed to file a local police report, then contact the FBI,FCC and the Bank Regulatory Commission as this is a growing problem with corrupt/dishonest companies like yours.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When you need to talk to someone it is probably because your web site doesn't help us. I need to talk to a representative to make sure my payment for my account isn't tied to my bank card. It was scammed and I am getting a new one this week, but need to make sure you don't try to deduct your monthly payment through this card. please call me at after 3:45 pm so we can fix this before my deduct date. Your security code is unreadable.

i have only had basictalk since august and i called today to cancel it i want it cancelled well in stead of doing that they give me 2 months free,i called again to cancel and they basically told i could not cancel try it for the two months free first.well i guess i will be calling again

Before buying BT I investigated things thoroughly, at least I thought I did. I input my number to verify it can be transferred and BT said YES. So I purchased the item and set it up. I then began to receive emails asking me to verify my pin number/password. I did this step repeatedly and still got the email every 2 days asking for this info. I called BT they said call the carrier to verify my info, did that and my info was 100% accurate. So the carrier says we are not holding up your number call BT. More and more calls after searching for phone numbers to reach a human and get this resolved. Today I am now informed my number cannot be transferred and she repeatedly said pick a new number. Gee if I wanted a new number this would not be an issue, however that is not an option. I am sadly disappointed in the misrepresentation of BT and will use word of mouth to let others know how deceptive this transferring numbers really is.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE Basic Talk is my motto and here is why!! They take your money and for anything other than termination you are unable to speak to anyone! On May 5th I called and spoke with a 3rd world representative to terminate my service and considered it done. Silly me he only did not terminate my service they withdrew money from my account the same week. As I said there are no representatives to resolve anything so you send an email and wait for 24 hours. This person did not cancel my account and now I have another bill which they are REQUESTING payment. Presently they owe me one month now they want me to pay for two without their service. My present company can verify termination for this Basic Talk does not have porting services. I called he termination center, spoke with the person whom I suppose that this is his only job since he is the only live person that anyone is able to contact. I want my money back and I will go to the BBB and any other place that I need to. Basic Talk your public representative needs more education or a desire to do his job.

Bacicaly BasicTalk is a joke they are a phone company without any way to call and speak to a live person about billing. They all just said they couldnt discuss any issues with me unless i wanted to add another line or cancel my service. Guess they do not care to keep their customers and all i was wondering is why i was charged 3 times in one month Does that make sense to anyone else when I only make us domestic calls. Sounds a little fishy to me and they can continue to do so without explaining why; so I guess the only thing to do is cancel my account b/c live chat is a joke and cannot help either. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE IF AT ALL POSS, IT APPEARS TO BE A SCAM!
