I wrote a business check to 50.00 to a customer. It was altered to 5305.00. Fifth Third has not given me a provisional credit and stated I have to wait up to 180 business days for resolution. This is unacceptable. Imagine if the entirety of my working capital had been compromised. This bank needs to treat its business customers with respect

Talking to their customer service rep to work out getting my title after the loan was paid off. Rep was useless to answer any questions, told me I had to call the total loss department (car was totaled by insurance after a wreck). The one time I tried to talk with the total loss department they made me wait 90 minutes before picking up the phone and were way less than helpful and hung up on me rather than answer my questions on the status of the payoff.

Spoke to the first line customer support again, and they couldn't answer my questions about the status of the payoff and referred me again to the total loss department. I just wanted to know the status of an account, and then the first line customer support rep also disconnected the chat session.

I paid off my car loan and was told I would be getting my title in the mail in a few days. I got a letter today thinking that was the title but no it was an idiotic suggestion to use auto bill payer in the future for payments. Hello people I paid off my loan I want my title not some idiotic suggestion from p Brian Moore Senior vice president who seems to be a name for many people in that department it's some kind of nom de plume I suppose.

53 sucks. I wanted to add a external bank account so I can transfer money in between accounts but they not only suspended the account I added they won't let me add any accounts at all now. I called 5 times over 5 months to resolve this and everytime they try to place the blame on me or my other bank or tell me they fixed the technical issue and I just have to wait. Nothing happened and I'm fed up. Worst bank ever.

Junk. Wound up with an auto loan through the dealership with these idiots. Very difficult to get set up to make payments. Will be paying the truck off just so I don't have to deal with this. I don't have time for it. Will be contacting the dealership to inform them they should look to other financial institutions for financing customers. I will make time for that.

I'm a senior citizen who live a town away from nearest bank, I called to request deposit slip, Brittany had me on a long hold just to confirm my request. She got back on the phone stating We can't do that, I guess My voice was too black, I'm not the damn Taliban. I just hung up, didn't need that headache.

Unbelievably bad. Just closed all accounts there. Held my income tax return for a week because they said it needed to be verified. I called and said there is a frickin verification number on the dang check. Told me no there isn't sorry your going to wait. And nevermind the fact that three times they took over 8 weeks to issue new debit cards. This bank will have you smacking your forehead from the head spinning idiocy. Anyone ever notice there computer system is from 1995. No exaggerating, take a look.

Fifth third bank is terrible! I can't even do anything on my mobile account because every slight thing I try to do because I don't have transportation, gets denied "due to my safety of blah blah blah" ahhh I can't even transfer money to a friend, add an external bank account, cash a check. What's the point of the stupid app! Aside from that, I can't get a hold of a customer service rep! I don't recommend this bank to my pet!!!

I am shocked to read that Fifth Third bank ranked, 765 out of the 989 for Customer Service. Seems rather high, given how impossible it is to get anyone on the phone. Further, after contacting the Attorney General in my state, I received a letter from the Office of the President at Fifth Third, and then a few weeks later another letter, from a VP contradicting the first letter. Incompetent, blithering idiots.

Hello:

The reason I am contacting Fifth Third Bank is because I have tried for approximately 2 years
to find out why each month Fifth Third Bank is taking a fee out of our business accountant. For the last (almost) 2 years $19.95 has been taken out of our business checking account. I have try on many unsuccessful occasions to have someone from World Pay and Fifth Third Bank try to help with this matter.
We had set up the use of Charge Card payments by our customers through Fifth Third. When starting this system up we agreed to only pay when we used the cc system.
I have never come across a bank with the worst customer service ever. Fifth Third does not care about the customer, the only importance to Fifth Third is getting customers to sign up
for their services. Of course, after that the customer is on their own.
I would very much like to get this matter resolved. I have even filled out and submitted the form from World Pay online which was suppose to stop any fees coming out. Of course, someone forgot to explain this part to me when we initially signed up for the service.

WORST BANK EVER! I am a beneficiary on an account, the executor and trustee on my moms estate -gave branch all docs 2 times over, asked for a final statement, told to fax my request, branch cant do that, I fax all docd, just got them back with a new autogenerated letter asking for the same docs to mail or fax again. Plus what gives the Bank the right to HOLD funds , that are suppose to be distributed to rightful owner, for over 2 weeks, then they say they will mail me a check....regular mail??????????

Fifth Third owes me 3 -$37 nsfs. I made one transaction for Uber eats and Uber eats split it into two, tip for driver. My account was overdrawn at the time and they charged me two$37 nsfs. You cannot charge nsfs twice for one transaction!

Incompetent unhelpful and unprofessional. Worst experience ever. Horrible customer service. They can't even resolve a simple title issue. I am physically sick and losing sleep having to deal with this company. Zero stars. They shouldn't even be in business.

I was a POD on my brothers checking account when he died at the end of July. Was told they would need copy of death certificate. Provided within a week. Wanted to stop all activity before auto-pays went out at first of the month. Was then told they would need abstract affidavit. Auto-pays continued, auto deposits (pension and SS) continued. Was told I was not authorized to receive any information. Still waiting for account to be closed. I get a letter directed to my deceased brother dated Feb.3rd stating account is $891.76 overdrawn. They don't want to damage his credit. WOW!

When my husband and I moved to Charlotte, NC, we bought our new condo. Shortly thereafter 5/3 built a new branch in a new shopping center right across the street. That branch became our bank. Approximately 13 years later my husband had died and I moved to Alexandria, VA, where there were no 5/3 banks and I joined another bank!. During my 5 years in Alexandria, I continued to receive emails from 5/3 reminding me it was time to make a payment to the utility company. I called the bank several times so that mistake could be corrected. Each time I never got an answer but was assured that it would be taken care of. Not. Fast forward. I just moved to Marietta, Georgia, and, yes, 5/3 has followed me with the same reminder. More than anything, it is VERY ANNOYING. And, I think 5/3 NEEDS TO FIX THE GLITCH IN THEIR SYSTEM!!! I cannot be the only be this has happened to.ALm

Has anyone else experienced fifth Third Bank illegally open an escrow account in your name without your permission? Im looking to contact an attorney and wonder if a class action law suite is best to resolve it.

I have tried for the past 10 days, and now many hours on Hold with every customer service phone number given to me or that I could find. Just puts me on hold and then on some sort of loop which brings me back to the initial message. It is imperative that I get in touch with someone. I do NOT want to be in default. I am trying to follow specific guidelines.

I'm leaving fifth third bank for similar nonsense I am seeing here branch says one thing changes their mind then it cost me $300 out of pocket. If you want to refinance check out union savings bank low rates and LOW closing cost $359 includes everything except escrows. Closing fee is $299 plus $60 recorders fee. Fifth Third was $1700 closing fee without escrows. I have a 840
credit score I guess they don't want my business

On the verge of paying off everything I own and leaving 5th 3rd once and for all.

P BRAIN MOORE is what I call him as he cannot be very smart if he allows all the crap to go on at his bank. They overcharged me $900 once on a IRA charge, they allowed someone in Cincinati to steal a credit card number on an account I had never used once, the list goes on and on. I used to be a preffered customer but when I moved all my IRA money suddenly I am getting charged for every little thing, go figure but i still have 2 mortgages and a home equity they make money on....... absolutely worthless bank ran by a PEA BRAIN!

Made a mistake on CD interest rate 60 days ago and I still have not received the interest owed to me. It has been a constant battle trying to get the money owed me. Managers at local branch has no clue what they are doing...I have been told by Bank Manager he just sent in the info requested and I will receive the interest check any day. That was 40 days ago. 5/3 bank sucks...go elsewhere.
