We are so dissatisfied with the purchase of our Maytag washer. It is less than a year old and has been serviced now 4 times. After waiting several weeks to have it serviced, they did not have the part to fix it. So today I received an email that they are canceling our next appointment due to the part is unavailable. I spent 40 minutes on hold today and last week. This is terrible customer service for an everyday use appliance.

I have a Maytag dryer it is the worst for removing lint and hair etc left from the washer. All it does is roll it into big balls of fibers that look like you have large insects on you clothes. Not a lot is is the lint trap. I have never had this issue until this dryer. Usually hair on the clothes would for the most part be removed by the dryer. Now I have to pick big balls of hair off all the laundry and then lint roller it before I can even wear it. Absolutely disgusting looking.

I purchased a front loading Maytag in August 2019. I wanted to buy an American product thinking that the reliability would be better, but boy was I wrong. 3 1/2 years later, the part that has failed will cost me as much as a new machine. Maytag would not cover the part because it was not listed in their limited warranty. All they would offer is a 20% discount on a model that is already discounted, or 40% discount on full price. Why would I want another machine that only last three years?

Happens again. But now they say it's out of warranty. I guess they don't expect their products to last longer than a year and 3 months after original repair. Never again will I purchase Maytag. That 10 year warranty sticker on their products is a joke.

The best they could do is send me a manual that answered NONE of my questions. If I know more, Maytag service should be completely embarrassed! I'm not the least impressed with your service!

I ordered a washer from the Maytag Website on November 30th, 2022 and the system told me that it would be delivered on December 5th, 2022. Then they changed the date to December 19th, 2022. Then on December 18th, 2022 I received two automated calls that were incomplete when I checked my voicemail. All that the recording said was that there must be a person 18 years or older present at the time of the delivery. When I tried to use the online system to "track" my delivery I could not find any information on what time the washer would be delivered. Then when I called Maytag Customer Service the told me that I had changed the delivery date. They told me that it was schedule to be delivered on the same day I was calling, December 19th, 2022 between 8 am and 12 noon but now it would not be delivered until January 9th, 2023! I told them it made no sense that it was not already on its way since it should have been out by 8 am and I did not change the date! They informed me there was nothing they could do! I called the delivery company and they said they did not understand why it had been changed either! I will NEVER purchase anything from maytag.com again!!!

Lasted 14 months computer board. Never again for whirlpool or maytag washers.

Worse washer ever! It's been repaired twice and still having the same problem. It isn't even two years old. Our new LG washer is being delivered Thursday.

I have contacted Maytag regarding a bad gear case on a Maytag commercial Technology washer and the customer service representative was very short and not willing to assist in any the machine is barely three years old and the gear case/ motor should not be failing the soon on a washer that is use on a regular basis i a private residence.

There is NO SERVICE and NO ONE AT MAYTAG/WHIRLPOOL who will take responsibility for doing anything. After a wait of 45-60 minutes each time I call to complain that their technician did not show up or call, they just put be on hold for another hours until you give up. My Maytag dryer is under warranty but they make it impossible to get service.

Customer service is horrible especially supervisors!!! Maytag Washer breaking 2x in 7 months when purchased NEW and only used 2x a week!! Stephenie in customer service suggests I hang my blanket to dry in shower to drain since the washer didn't spin and drain water properly from the cycle. First time broke in a October second time broke in November and it took a week to get someone over to look at it meanwhile washer is STILL under 1 year warranty and customer service and customer care keep saying to me we will continue fixing your washer as many times as needed and CS not responsible to refund $ and take this defective washer. So those who are buying Maytag PLEASE avoid their products and customer service! Save yourselves time money and nerves dealing with them is a nightmare ... on hold for 1 hr then keep on transferring from one department to another ... hanging up on you when checking in on your part status!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID Their customer service keep saying they follow their process and telling you one thing another department telling another thing they don't have their story together! Horrible communication skills, they need training on their communication with in their departments as well as their VIA Service technicians.

The ice maker stopped working less than two years old. Washer completes a wash cycle one out of five times. Microwave has a short in it so you have to wiggle the door to get it to work. I am very disappointed.

Our washing machine was only 11 months old when it stopped draining. We tried using their online service--the one they claim was for better, faster service-- to book a technician. We waited all day on the day we had it booked for. No one called, no one came. We called the next day and managed to book a technician. The pump was changed....still didn't drain. The mother board was changed.....still didn't drain. Now we are waiting on a new wiring harness to try that. It has been over a month since we started this claim, the wiring harness is on back order and they will not do anything to help us. They told us we had to wait another 21 days from the time the part was ordered before they would do anything for us. It has been over a month now and the machine is still not fixed. The supervisor today had the nerve to say that our machine was over a year old now and all she could do was to extend the warranty by 6 months implying it was no longer covered by the 1 year warranty. Excuse me. The machine broke at 11 months and is STILL not fixed. Highly recommend DO NOT BUY MAYTAG OR ANY OF THEIR APPLIANCES. They do not stand behind there products. The only brigh side was that the technician was polite and curtious.

We purchased a $900 maytag washer 2 1/2
Years ago. The lid continues to crack about once a year (this is the 3rd time we have replaced it). These lids cost over $200 a piece. Contacted Maytag and the only thing they offered was an almost $400 warranty or they could send a service tech out for almost $170. I would never recommend Maytag. We would be better off purchasing a different washer at this point.

first problem not working with wifi and do not believe anything these commercials say, I bought a washing machine and dryer 2 months ago after 1 month the washing machine began to have problems until it stopped working completely I was waiting for 2 weeks for a technician to come to repair it which I he said "his motherboard is damaged and the drain pump must wait 2 more weeks for the parts" after being almost 1 month without being able to wash I ask him my options, they do not give me the option to give me a new one, they will not help me with renting another provisionally my lundry is almost full and I don't have the need to go to a commercial lundry because for some reason I spent so much money on a maytag set according to Lowes it is "the best of the best commercial grade what is inside matters and our technicians are always on vacation because they have nothing to repair" the only thing that this slogan is right about is that they are on vacation since to communicate with them between department call transfers between departments you wait for almost 2 hours You pray so that in the end they tell you that I just have to keep waiting, I understand that this is electronic equipment that can fail and that they don't make it like before, but that the same technician tells you that even with the parts they still can't repair it So I have to wait for another company to come and give me a second opinion before I can get a new one? In any case, this has a one year warranty with the manufacturer. I paid for something new. I don't need to have something "repaired". in them after a year? Really, this is just a round business where they don't create solutions, just a dependency on them to keep moving money, they win, they win, and the client continues spending.

Btw I have evidence from emails and calls to back up everything I say. I think that the best purchase is any equipment that has zero technology, such as those GE that you find in apartments that are repaired with generic tools and last for years. we have to go back to the basics technology in the end does not work.

I bought a maytag washer for their reputation.I never will again.I wish I could just return this set back to Lowes but can't.Told I had to go through Maytag.Honestly I have way too many issues to go into all of them here. Just be careful and look at reviews before you buy an appliance of theirs.

We purchased our Maytag washer in January 2021. In February of 2022 it isn't working on normal wash. It will barely agitate and when it gets ready to spin it won't spin. Last Maytag I will purchase. Paid over $780 on a washer that I Barely have gotten one year of use with.

Bought a new washer/dryer and unfortunately our washer died after 4 months of use. Took a week for a technician to come out and diagnose what was wrong. The technician stated that the main control unit was "fried" and the lid switch caused his multimeter to act "weird". When I asked how long it would take to repair those two items, he told me that he had to order the parts and it would take a minimum of 3 to 5 business days to get them (I later found out this would have been a dream to happen that quickly). Upon contacting the warranty/safety department at Maytag, I found out that these two parts are on back order and would be a minimum of 21 business days to get them (that's a calendar month). Once the parts would be received by the technician, it would be a minimum of two weeks before he could be scheduled to come out and make the repair. In total I'm waiting nearly two months to get my 4 month old washer (still under warranty) repaired. How does this company make washers if the main control unit part is on back order? When I asked what other options were available due to the extended wait (i.e. replacement) I was told this was the only option and I would just have to wait. Maytag used to be a great company with great service (at least my experience) but this have changed dramatically and that's what's most disappointing.

Brand new Maytag washer crashed. I've tried for over two weeks to get a service rep out. Thought we had a n appointment after trying for over 5 hours Got a call today postponing the service call on a Warranted machine.
Worst appliance experience ever. Lowe's was no help.

Bought a new Washer and Dryer. Both were defective. They are replacing the dryer, but haven't heard from anyone. I signed up and registered products on line. Now, when I get on line they say my email is not valid.

Terrible customer service. Repair guy took a week to come. Said he needed to order parts, after two weeks he said they were on backorder, Maytag said we needed to wait. We have now been without a washer for a month.

I can help it any more every time I do laundry I come away hating this washer more and
more. I had one I bought in 2002 and it was a good washer; not compared the the Speed
Queen I had before I move here but it got the clothes clean. That is better then this
one. I will never buy another Maytag. I have a dryer I bought when I got my first
washer and it is fine.
