I live in Texas. Why would a package need to go from California to Florida before it made it to Texas..halfway across the country for no reason at all?

Posted by Esteban93

This is by far the worst delivering company, they deliver your package to wrong adresses despite what you instruct them to when placing the order, i recomend no body to use them and if you habe the option to choose a different carrier because they wont take resposability for any loss even if its their fault , workers are by far the worst !!!!

Good morning, today I had to call the USA pastal service for the arrival of a package from Canada and Mrs. Angela answered me. The service was terrible because I asked for a Spanish translator, she was going to put me on hold again and go to the voice machine that I had already gone through 4 times because the previous operators did it to me too and from that moment she treated me differently. And you never answered my question about the package I'm receiving from Canada. Thank you

if your parcel fits in a typical letter box whatever that is, in my case small, then you will your parcel if not they make you pick it up at the Post Office. It happened to me I asked them to redeliver an 8 1/2" by 6" envelope. I don't want to have to pay for a PO Box.

I don't like the fact that I have to open an account to stop my mail. I wish you all left it alone.

i fill out complain because my package almost $500 was lost. No answer to me. Later i could not find even a history of my complain like nothing happened. I am in total shock.

Scheduled a pick-up as ring doorbell for parcel to be handed over; mail arrived, no pick-up. Drove it to the post office as I needed to get it out today. Fast forward to 6:42pm, having dinner with the family when there is honking in our driveway.. by time I was close to the door, they were driving away. I'm guessing it's the same driver that throws packages in our yard.
So sad what's happened to USPS.

I'm annoyed! Yesterday I looked at tracking to get updates regarding my order and saw that it stated "delivered in/ near mailbox." I went downstairs to check the mail and saw that there was nothing there. I was confused. I stepped outside my apartment complex and noticed that my item was placed next to a plant that was standing outside my complex. If I didn't see it.. it would have been outside all night and someone could have taken it.
I had another order coming today and checked the tracking.. it stated "delivered in/ near mailbox." I went downstairs and checked inside/ near my mailbox... I checked outside just in case the same thing happened like the previous day, but nothing... WHERE THE HECK IS MY ORDER?!?!?

No access for delivery my ass I watched the mailman drive right by they say delivered and nothing is delivered but it might show up in a day or two or not at all they are liars and you can not get a hold of anyone to help you what they say they investigate is nothing give them every detail and still give a line of b______t never gets delivered I've lost $1000s of dollars because of the USPS is the worst for handling mail and packages can't trust them but we're stuck with the liars and theifs that they are!

The post office, the employees and the mail man and delivery are goods The services they give is good. BUT the web site is Not good. I just spend 30 mns trying to figure out how many stamps I have to put on a regular letter for France and it is just impossible to know. The answer is: 36$ for a priority letter or 1.40$ for a post card. What about my 0.5oz letter?? I am just going to put 4 stamps and pray to God. This website is inefficient AND it freezes.

Gainesville USPS emoyees are incompetent, rude, and inefficient. Half my mail goes missing but I get other people's mail. They wrote the wrong address inside my mailbox instead of looking at the house number on the house. They do not pick up mail that is left for pick up. Half my daughters wedding invitations never made it. We paid a lot of money and checked on size etc..Many gift cards were stolen right in the postal service. They say it is the machines...No...clean cut steaight across, gift card removed, taped back up, sticker added that says no contents... USPS is a sham.

The store front at Millhopper lovation is worse. Rude, disgruntled employee, yelled at me when I asked a question, then threw my box roughly into a cart 10ft. away.

Going with Fed Ex and UPS. Amazon online gift cards from now on..

I had the package sent overnight with USPS. The next day it was delivered but to the wrong address/room.
I had to call customer service to locate the package. Well, customer service does not work at USPS. They have an automatic voice to transfer the customer and then hang up.

It's not the first time when USPS providing 1-star customer service and has delivery issues.

One of your employees cut open my envelope and took the contents . It was a gift in the envelope for my 77 th birthday, tell them next time just throw the card away ! My heart is broken and I will not use the usps again !

This company has gone down hill over the years. Small example I got a package that was supposed to be delivered by UPS but USPS picked it up halfway through the delivery process for some reason. It was supposed to be delivered in a week with UPS but now it's taking another two weeks with USPS. This is a common problem with them and it happens a lot. Well I called customer service to see what was going on and got connected to someone with the worst attitude and was no help and they downplayed the situation

Yesterday, a delivery driver showed up while my dog was outside on a leash and my husband was standing in the doorway. The driver half way got out of his truck and then immediately got back in is truck before my husband could even step outside. We then get an update that the package is availble for pick up at the post office. So Today, I got to the post office it was supposed to be delivered at only to be told they don't know where the package is, but it must be at the other office and gives me a phone number to call. Phone number just rings and rings and rings and then hangs up on you. So I drive over to the other post office for the rep to tell me that the delivery driver attempted to deliver and I said no that's a lie. I was standing right there. For the rep to then pop an attitude and go 'WELL, if a dog is there they won't deliver. (which is a lie) and then said I wasn't there so I don't know' I was and I'm telling you what happened. They said that it was mislabeled and that it would be redelivered today. I then asked why the tracking information would tell me its here for pick up, and he then said that they would go back and check. Man never returns, instead about 5 mins later another man walks up without introducing himself or who he was says that it was mislabeled and would be redelivered today and told me to leave. This is completely unacceptable and I completely wasted my time trying to hunt down this package because people cannot do their jobs and getting mad when they are called out for it. USPS has been useless for a while, but they are just completely pathetic now and a waste of time. Not helpful, unfriendly, defensive, rude. 10/10 dont recommend. Just use fedex or ups.

Calling the USPS 800# is a waste of time, if you want to speak with a 'live' person. The USPS, like most businesses and government offices, just flat out refuse to answer their telephones directly. It seems, especially of late, that in the business world, people are generally getting lazy and that ignoring telephone calls is the "fashionable" way to do business? This practice causes a lot of problems for consumers, not to mention a tremendous waste of time.

If the manager even had a high school degree to know how to communicate and listen properly and a clean ear, wouldn't hire a selfish and confident unqualified staff that doesn't know how to help people over the phone to help them change their mailing address. There are still lot of old people who are technically challenged you don't know how to use online or a computer and still badly need customer service reps who can listen and understand clearly how to guide them to change their mailing address on their package delivery and to help them also with their package delivery issues. When someone asks them can you help me change the mailing address in the future it does not mean there's nothing we can do about it and do it online. Most people still have trouble filling out the application and filling the form properly. Most people don't even know that people who send the package and mail it don't check and cannot differentiate between billing and shipping, which sadly is a very critical skill when mailing directly. This does fall back on the mailing services because the mailing services need to be precise and concise with their job. I would give it a two out of three star. These customer service reps have more than enough time to help out every customer especially during the pandemic and now another gas price inflation in 2022.I they shouldn't even be calling themselves responsible and qualified candidates

DO NOT USE THE USPS! They are crooks and thieves! They will not own up to any mistakes. I sent a priority envelope with my grandsons birthday card and gift inside. Said envelope was going to the Midwest outside if Chicago by a couple of hours. It was first sent all the way to New York to a couple of places then back to the Midwest. Once received it had been opened, taped back up and items stolen out if it. I will not use the USPS ever again! After speaking to several people, nobody will give you an answer other than well that's just what happens. I proceeded to tell them if I did my job like that I would not have a job. No wonder it is a failing business!!!

I can't believe that an institution that is been around for so long and that people trust has turned into a unreliable uncaring institution. It's sad that one of the oldest American businesses has become so terrible. The saddest part of these businesses who have so many complaints is that they don't care how we feel about how they treat us but yet we continue to use them it just doesn't make sense. If we stop using these businesses that treat us so insignificant they would go out of business and maybe one would start that actually cares about their customers.

USPS delivered package knowing that their locks are faulty. When the mailbox was left open by the mail carrier and the package was stolen, the customer service rep rold me that there was nothing that they could do even though it was their fault for not securing the lock and on top of that knowing that they were easy to open even when locked..told me to have patience and understanding while they look for solutions to this growing issue. Patience and understanding does not replace my possessions.

(post office BOX subscriber)
I am tired of the increase fees on my box each year and not getting my packages. I complain and complain- no resolution, its just like they don't care. This facility is NOT being held accountable for losses, if it weren't for Amazon,et al, refunding and/or replacing your order the public would be screwed. I wish Amazon, et al, can find a way to find USPS responsible so they can stop this kind of behavior. And the increase on box subscribers with the incompetence will be reported to the BBB!!

The USPS station didn't scan my item for shipment to the eBay seller and I lost my money due to a No Tracking Information issue. The package was never found. I'll never use USPS again.

I scheduled an appointment for passport at 9am. I got to the location 30 min earlier.
I entered to the lobby's office at 8:55, the webpage said: arrive 10 min before your scheduled app. I was the first in line, there was 6-8 people behind me.
When the clerk opened the door, asked me if I was there for passport, I said yes and she told me to step aside and wait until someone assisted me. She let in all people behind me and after 10 minutes I called her attention. She said something about :" we're short staff". Another older clerk told me :" don't you have to wait when you go to the doctor?" I ignored her to avid confrontation. Just after that, the same clerk who opened the door, called me to the window, saying: it'll take just two minutes to do that...So I asked her: Why did I have to wait almost 15min if there was no need for a specific window or person to complete the process ? Once again she said the same thing about having one clerk only.
More than anything my complaint is about the employees attitude and the lousy service experience.
There's no perfect job, in that case, it doesn't matter if someone is late or didn't show up, DO YOUR BEST, nobody has to know the issues you're having, DO YOUR BEST.
