I live in a mobile home tract of 850 units. My postal lady Suzy knows everyone in the park. She is friendly and personable, and she knows her job! I get my mail whether or not the sender has put my space number on it. She doesn't force boxes into the mail box which is wonderful since the items are not damaged. Suzy has deposited boxes on my door step. Box and contents are never damaged. Suzy has answered my questions on how to resolve mail issues. Suzy is a wonderful asset to USPS Canyon Country, CA.

Come to the Hampton river dale post office everyweek, Its crazy! Only one person behind the counter, 15 people in line!! Slow as hell, another employee standing around "helping" people that don't need it, more like bothering them!! She jus needs to get behind the counter n help where it's really needed!! It takes 20mins to get outta this place!!

I appreciate the service I recieve from clerk 06 at the Clinton, MD post office. She is always very attentive and courteous. She always goes the extra mile when providing service. I sent a package using a Postal Service priority box to my daughter who is attending school in Alaska. She suggested I take a couple of boxes and labels to have on hand to save me some time for the next time. A few days later when I arrived home from work, there was a pkg of priority boxes and labels on my doorstep. I know it was clerk no. 06b that had sent them to me. She is fantastic!!!

The Marysville Post Office in Michigan is the best. I live in Port Huron, but travel to the next town because the employees at the Marysville branch are more knowledgeable and extremely efficient. At the Port Huron office there is always a huge line and the postal clerks are rude, inefficient and don't know how to expedite customers.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE SPARKS, NEV AND THE FAIRFIELD, CA OFFICE FOR THEIR HELP IN LOCATING A LOST PACKAGE I HAD SENT TO MY SON AND TO POSTMASTER JOHN, AND THERESA FOR THEIR HELP , PACKAGE WAS FOUND, WITHOUT A TRACKING NUMBER. THEY ARE VERY BUSY SO DON'T GET UPSET IT MAY TAKE A LITTLE TIME BUT THEY DO FIND IT. THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU. IF ANYONE LOSES A PACKAGAGE CHECK WITH THE POST OFFICE IN THE TOWN IT WAS SENT TO MAY BE SITTING THERE.

My experence with the US Postal Service has been wonderful in fact when I order something on line or on HSN I tell them to please ship by postal service. Yes I have had a problem, some dishes were thrown on the porch and broken but I was compensated in a short time. My experience with other shippin packages were delivered to a different address, different street name that does not even sound close to the name of my shreet, I worked for UPS in the tracking department and we conducted shipper and receiver interviews when a package was lost and we would sometime find the package in another city. Please work hard in all shippping departments and mistakes can be made but they aren't trying to make mistakes. In the post office those clerks deal with all kinds of nuts, I have witnessed first and it is more than a notion to deal with the public one on one, I have been there and done that it is not fun and you can be ever so cool some customer is going to try and mess up your day simply because you remain cool calm and collected. I personally think that people like their jobs but it is hard to be relaxed and calm all of the time, every day, sedond, minute and hour. Walk a mile in someone's shoes befor you complain about their attitude or serice,

We just want to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to the group at the US Post Office - Thousand Palms. Of all the places we visit in the valley and in the four states we travel through this group has the most outstanding attitude to work, weather, and first of all their cutomers.

As diversified as their customers are so are their attitudes from helping their elderly customers to their cars with parcels to letting the next person in line it won't be that long of a wait (even though it looks like a Disney line up ) I have run out of room to give these guys the accolades they so deserve for going the extra mile every day to say hello, to give recognition to the person who just lost their spouse and the trip to the post is the high light of their day. More Atta Boys Five Gold stars and Zagat ratings are due to these wonderful men.

You are lukcy to have all of these Thousand Palms Post Employees

May they have a wonderful 2011 as they gave to all of us through outstanding customer service

Last night, I went on line to print labels for 2 Christmas packages for family in Ohio. 2-3 day priority mail was cheaper on line than at the Post Office, and something new: FREE pickup, at my front door!
Wow, a way to avoid the line at the post office, and cheaper than buying postage at the post office. The service requires you to have at least one 2-3 day (Priority Mail) package, but that works for me.
I really like the new free pick-up service!!

Followed advice on this webpage to call 800 275 8777 and kept pushing zero- only took 4 times and was connected to a VERY helpful gentleman. He listened to my problem and effciently provided a solution that worked. Problem- locating a pkg with a tracking number to make an address correction. Agent at Meas Desert PO very friendly and agreeable to assist with the solution. CHEERS to the USPS- Happy Holidays

I am very lucky to have a wonderful mailman. He is very thoughtful and has made an extra effort to make sure that everything is delivered in good condition. Daryl has had to deal with difficult people, barking (and at one time, a biting) dog, as well as the bad weather we get during the winter. I wish you all had the same service.

This site represents an unfair rating service. Customers don't comment everyday when they receive their mail on time. Customers complain when smething goes wrong. Please take that into consideration as you read the scores.

Recently I filed a complaint regarding two missing deliveries, both bills. I was advised the matter would be investigated and I would receive additional information.
When the call came I was most pleased with the representative, Brian, who took details regarding the missing items, was most pleasant and accommodating. He advised me how he would handle the matter and gave me his local phone number (408.732.1404) so that I could contact him if there were any further problems. He was extremely courteous and apologetic; I was most impressed by his manner--kudos to the postal service for having such a fine representative.

Had the mail held for 2 weeks while out of town. When I picked it up later, there were 14 pieces of mail for other addresses! And some that I expected to get were not in it - now I fear that my expected mail was delivered to some other address.

USPS IS THE ONLY SHIPPING SERVICE I USE. IT'S
CONSISTENTLY CHEAPER THAN UPS OR FEDEX, IT'S RELIABLE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT MY LOCAL BRANCH IS UNBEATABLE.

I have always had excellent customer service when calling for the free supplies. Boxes are so expensive and I get them for free from USPS - shipping prices are lower than Fedex and UPS too.

Had an issue with priority mail, it had been sent to the post office for pick-up instead of the address on the label. Called the number above, spoke to Brenda, she was great. fixed the problem as I spoke to her on the phone. Good job -- this number is a keeper!

I have had many problems over the years.
I have been sending my storage payments to the same address for over twelve years, and you couldn't even imagine the mail I've sent that never got to it's destination. . .even return receipt requested!
Although customer service representative Chad was very good at dealing with me, I know deep down in my heart that nothing will come of this. He was very good; patient, understanding, and apologetic.
Having been through this before, I know from past experience that nothing will ever come of it.

But I do know this. . . it will NOT be the fault of this service person. Thank you Chad.

And damn the mega-giant USPS that will not aggressively address our little problems. It appears that it is only the huge, uncover-up able HUGE cases that we ever hear about.

I just called customer service to get information about bulk mailing, and the agent was friendly, helpful, and knew the answer to my question. I am sure she was smiling when she was talking to me.
Way to go!

Thanks to the information on this site, I was finally able to reach a live agent. According to the tracking info online, my package had been "missent" and I wanted to know exactly where it was. I learned that it was sent to the next state (and not across the country). The agent was very polite and apologized for the inconvenience.

Whenever I call customer service- like today- they're really pretty nice. But it always seems like there's nothing they can do. Today, I called because I had purchased a certified return receipt just so that I could track the envelope as it's a gold necklace I'm returning and I really don't feel like having to cough up 150.00 if it doesn't get there. The cert # was not in the system after 2 days. The lady at customer service was really nice but couldn't do anything except offer a refund. I'm going to have to go over to the contract station at the mall from where I mailed this and talk to the guy there. Waste of time. Anyway, the upshot is that I think the customer service people try very hard to be helpful but often, there's nothing they can do.

I don't know what the problem is with the majority of you, but, I had no problem whatsoever getting to a live person.I didn't have to press any buttons, I said other options a couple of times, got a live person on the line, told her what I needed, which was the local telephone number for the p.o. serving my area. Called the number, it rang 3 times, and they were very polite and helpful. Take a deep breath people, like they say, Rome wasn't built in a day.
