Customer Service is Poor, Poor at all levels... I have a business account that was with BBVA ( now PNC)... No communication was sent to my mailing address concerning the buy out of the bank.. Three forms of communication was sent to include my new PNC account number and temporary checks and fees etc... NEVER RECEIVED... they sent to wrong address.
I remove all but $100.00 from my business acct that who knows has access to my account.
They now have charged service fees of $20.00 month and are closing acct. I call the local Corpus Christi, Texas Ocean Drive acct and Helen Vela , Business acct mgr would not talk to me... No one would give me my new PNC number... I heard 3 times call Customer Care service they will help you... Yep... you guessed it... they wouldn't help me without a new PNC bank account number. My Old BBVA checking acct would not work. This has been 4 hours of wasted time and a run around... I'm glad I have a choice of where to bank and there is competition. My Acct was for a large apartment building... BIG BUCKS BABY... Poor Poor Service... You just lost me after a 19 year account holder.... with Laredo National Bank... PNC... RUN FOLKS... RUN FAR AWAY. I will be making a complaint with the Austin Texas Department of Banking...

People you better watch out for this bank because out of no reason whatsoever and the bank doesn't give you any reason but they just close your account with no notice no nothing so you better watch your money in this bank because they suck big time and I would recommend this bank to anyone even my worst enemy

Service Has Sucked From The Beginning, Atm Machine Out Of Service, Atm Machine Stolen Over 6 Months Ago Still Not Replaces. One Side Of Front Door Not Working. Went In A Office Yesterday, Has Not Busy Ar All, When A Lady Came From Office Area, I Asked If She Had A Minute, She Said No...........not Can You Wait A Moment, I Can Get Someone For You.....nothing. Whata A Terrible Bank. Needless To Say.....i Leaving This Pos Bank !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a long line one Saturday afternoon, with 1 or 2 elderly with a cane, at the Waterworks branch. I think it would be considerate if, instead of standing in line, PNC would convert to "pick a number" method and provide chairs, especially on a day when there was only 1 person at the counter + 1 who alternated between drive through and inside clients.

About a mth ago i went to pnc ATM machine and tried to withdraw money but the machine got stuck and instead of giving money it took money back but said I withdrew it, I went in bank made a complaint no I was not the only one who it did this too there was 4 cars in back of me, ok the man for the machine came to fix but the bank was closing so they did nothing fo rme because they said they have to investigate, ok next day go back they give me the money and I think they realize the mistake, no in my bank acct tonight a mth later find out that the freaking bank charged me the money that was mine now I have a freaking mess on my hands and they are litterly

I gave them one star because I can't give them minus 10. We were customers of BBVA (personal, business, loans, credit cards, etc.) and we ended up taking our accounts to another bank because since PNC took over it's been chaos. Their customer service is deplorable and after months of going back and forth they simply gave up on our complaint and now we end up with outrageous unjustified charges. Worst banking experience ever.

Don't expect the BBB to help resolve your complaints. PNC isn't even accredited by the BBB so it's a waste of your time. BBB reserves the right to modify the reviews and they will publish a review in my name that has nothing to do with our complaint, ignoring our arguments and siding up with PNC.

PNC bank only cares about themselves and making their company money. They have absolutely no regard for their customers or consumers. I would not bank or loan from this bank. They are the worst bank I've ever dealt with. Don't cash checks there ethier their check cashing fee is higher then their competitors!

Called PNC to see if they could reverse a fee. When talking to the customer service rep he advised me they could not reverse the fee, I asked why and he advise it was at his discretion and it could not be waived at this time. I called my local branch the next day (wednesday) and was advised a complaint would be sent to the manager and the manager has up to 48 hrs to get back to me which would be Friday. It's the monday after and I call today with no luck to get the manager on the phone and I was told all they could see was the request was denied no other reasoning. If something is denied then why would there not be a reason? No response. I am closing my accounts this weekend with no other reason then like thier implied reason "because I can". Customer service is not what it was when I opened this account 3 years ago

It's been months and they still can't figure out how to get my mobile app to take deposit checks. It keeps crashing and they do nothing about it, don't call me back or anything. Now, they are duplicating charges and claim it must be on the merchant side. Really? Never happened before and now 2 different merchants in the same day? I verified online that they only took 1 w/d each. PNC AGAIN REFUSES TO HELP! And they keep closing branches so it's difficult to get in somewhere to talk to a real person and not a bot.

I was sending a wire from "bank" to PNC and then From PNC to "Bank" - since PNC was central I attempted to contact someone at PNC with questions. I left FOUR messages with clerks to have the manager call me as the clerks not know info regarding Wires. ACH has a limit of $25,000 I knew that before I called - and this was for more funds. No one ever returned a single call. Finally I had to do the wire without any help from anyone at PNC.

PNC bank claimed to have not received our May mortgage payment. No changes had been made to our account information and there were no issues with any other payments. They charged us late fees and continually sent letters in the mail that we did not pay. We provided proof of payment, statements, and even had a conference call with our bank and PNC to prove that the funds had left our account and were not returned. After over 2 months of calls, emails, etc. they FINALLY found the error and they were 100% at fault for losing our money. The reasoning she gave didn't even make sense. I truly think they were trying to scam us out of another mortgage payment. Also they refuse to make up for the HOURS that I spent on this issue that was their fault. They said "oops" and "sorry there is nothing we can do for you." Unbelievable. Clearly, they do not value their customers' time.

Filed a dispute on July 5th. Was told it would take 10 business days to go through. Called today (10 business days later) to check the status of my dispute. I was told there is no active disputes on my acct then the woman hung up on me. Called customer service back and was told again that I have no active disputes then HUNG UP ON AGAIN!!! I'm switching banks since this is how they handle customer issues. I can't imagine my problem being something more serious and being hung up on TWICE by two different customer service reps. Disrespectful.

If Pnc didn't have branches in Florida where my second home is I would pull all of money out. Their procedures change weekly and half of them make no sense.

They are completely clueless. They ran me in circles with no one willing to help or take responsibility. I spent four hours on hold over a series of 3 calls and nothing got resolved. I will be moving on to a new bank after this experience.

ALex R answered 888-762-2265. No help. Wanted my full SS # given to him over the phone. So my own bank that has $150,000 of my money in my checking acct, can't find my data with my name, the last 4 digits of my SS and the last 4 digits of my acct number? Nope. He can't help me. I received a letter about auto checks, call if I have questions, so I had a question, and never got to ask it bc of having to give my most confidential data over the phone to some guy I do not know. Are you serious how you operate in this day and age of fraud and theft? Negative rating. Can I go lower than 0.

This is a bank that will take your deposit in 13 seconds flat but when you need to withdraw funds the timeframe appears to be 2 weeks minimum. ESVA branches of PNC are the absolute worst (& I used to bank with TDBank!) 13 second deposit times, 2 week withdrawal. Seems like a good bank right? Put your money ANYWHERE but here!

A PNC customer for seven years. They sent me an offer. I have a 749 coco score. They approved me within minutes. But my issue they gave me a $500 dollar limit. I have another PNC card already with a $2000 limit and seven other cards that total $32000 available. Why approve me with your offer and then limit me to $500. Thanks but no thanks. You don't know or understand your current customers.

I purchased a vehicle in July 2020 through BBVA. In mid 2021 I started receiving notices from PNC that they were buying out BBVA. In October of 2021, before the date of the buy out, I paid off my vehicle through BBVA. PNC sent me a letter dated 10/22/2021 that my loan was PAID IN FULL, but they did not finish the process. My credit score has dropped from excellent to good, because the large credit companies show PNC has an open loan on me. I called PNC today (06/13/2022), where I spoke to a lady in the loan department. She requested my name, SS# and zip code. She told me there is no loan ever showing under my credentials with PNC. She then told me I need to write a letter to PNC Dispute, sending a copy of the letter I have with my full SS#, my date of birth and address. I cannot fax the information nor is their a link on their website to upload these documents. Instead I am to send it snail mail, where the letter can be stolen, and a scammer can steal my identity because this is the way PNC works. None of this is my fault, I cannot do this over the phone or online, but I am encouraged openly to be a part of identity theft on a PNC error! Obviously PNC does not care about their customers! I want this fixed without having to send everything via snail mail, this is PNC error and my loan was paid off before the merger with BBVA, and I have a letter from PNC proving this, J Eggert

PNC Customer Service is disgusting and pathetic. Their mobile deposit doesn't work, they take around 1 month to mail the cheques to you and above it the customer service representative put you on hold to frustrate the customers. May be this is what they are trained on so that customers get frustrated and they drop-off automatically. Absolutely horrible service.

PNC closed a branch in Louisville, KY where I had a safe deposit box. The branch has been closed for years but I was never notified of the closing or where the safe deposit box and its contents have been moved. I moved from KY to FL a few years ago and kept my accounts with PNC and they still take out the yearly fee for the box but no one at PNC will help me find the box or how to stop the fees!
I'm in the process of moving my personal and business accounts after decades of customer loyalty. I opened my first accounts with National City that was"bought" by PNC

Pnc bank is awful started charging me 25.00 a month for a service fee that they never charged before. They tried to tell me that is the account we signed up for which I know we didn't.
They closed an account on there own which had ten dollars in it don't know where the ten went and never approved closing the account so I guess they do things on their own

As a business owner, I opened a business checking account in PNC's Northern California Sunnyvale Branch. The day I first visited the branch, the branch manager Nidhi just started her first day without knowing much about the PNC's procedures. My account did not get opened till a week later due to her schedule in training as only branch manager can open a business checking account. I had some issues on the account and Nidhi can only send emails to her higherups for help. I then got an email from Dammy I. PNC's Retail Support Case Manager and a PNC's Officer asking me to call him on my case. I called many times and left messages. His voice mail says he will get back with me after he hears the voice mail. NO SUCH LUCK! Dammy just not calling back. Bad client support.

PNC bank is a terrible place to do your business. they are charging me to transfer money from my savings account to pay off a credit card from PNC. do not do business with these people they charge you to walk through door.

If you're an elderly person and need assistance THIS IS NOT THE BANK FOR YOU!! Im my grandmother's legal caretaker and she wanted to change her pin number to something she could easily remember. The guy assisting her wouldn't allow the pin change to go through cause I was helping her. My grandmother is legally blind, she told him I'm her caretaker and she is letting me assist her. The guy then said nope sorry the system won't allow it she's has to call on the phone. She tried and even the guy in the phone was confused by the refusal so I did go back inside and ask "was it your system or cause I was trying to help her" he said at the "yes you can't help her" and another lady that works there butted in and saod "If she's blind she should even have a debit card" I informed them AGAIN "she doesn't walk well and needs assistance with reading but as her caretaker you're refusing to allow me to help her" the lady said "she needs to come in here on her own and do things" bravo pnc for telling a disabled elderly woman she can't have assistance even though she was giving her consent for assistance.

BBVA approved our business PPP loan then PNC acquired BBVA. They told us our small received more than we were approved for and owe the difference back. We are a small business that needed that to survive COVID-19. PNC just sucks and we closed our business account. PNC Bank really stands for Piece N Crap Bank.
