Terrible customer service. Called five times in one day. Spoke to several agents who did not speak english well, could not resolve my issue and refused to connect with a manager. Was hung up on when had no answers.

I have not been able to request a ride for some reason. It is extremely hard to contact support team of uber. Only way is their chat which is buried so well that hard ti initiate. Finally some one showed me how . My issue was handed over to specialized team and no response from them for more than 24 hours. I wasted my Tesla voucher and ended up paying 120 $ for two way Cab.Hope Uber will implement some other ways to contact them .
I contacted Uber support because I am having issues with the Uber driver app stating that my car insurance doesn't have my name on it when it clearly does. I contacted support and the idiot who was responding to me didn't understand that the issue was the app not accepting the car insurance even though my name matches on my car insurance and license and I specifically told him what the issue was. He stated that yes the insurance information has my name. Okay yes that's what I was telling you now try and fix the damn issue that's why I am contacting you dumbass. He stated he would send the issue up to higher ups and I asked how many days that would take and he told me, "don't worry Amber, this isn't an issue." I asked for an answer to how many days this type of thing takes. I didn't ask your dumbass for your input on worrying about it. Obviously since I'm contacting there's obviously an issue. Why can't these people answer simple questions. Uber support doesn't know what they're doing. I have an incentive to be payed around $215 if I deliver 25 Uber eats orders and I'm at 16 at the moment. Now that the proof of car insurance isn't being accepted I most likely won't get to do the rest of the deliveries to get payed the incentive amount due to these idiots not knowing how to do their jobs.
It's a lie that you can call them in the app: Every time I try to call them, it takes me to the driver app, and I have a passenger complaint. I was in the hospital when I installed Uber but I never used it at that location. Now it always wants to take me to Washington Hospital Center and I've only been there twice in 43 years. I want the app to forget the hospital.
Just took 45 minutes trying to get Uber "support" to clear a trip where the rider called and cancelled on route to pickup.
It took 8 people, including a "supervisor", to find out that there's nothing that they can do. I had to cancel the trip on my end, which penalizes me. They also say they can't do anything to change the incorrect cancellation.
Utterly useless.
I am a driver and in the last 3 weeks I've been lied to more than a dozen times. It's too Long to gi into , but I had a acct 6years ago. I reactivated it and wanted to drive again. I am working to help pay my divorce legal bill. My under bank acxt was to my wife's acct. When I reactivate my uber acct I tried for days to change the banking info.
Long story short. After being told the money would be blocked from going to her acct. The next day them was gone. I called again and was on the phone for 90mins. The rep told me all sort of crap that I did not accept. I was put on hold dozens of time and told more crap. All of a sudden she tells me try to add the new bank info and miraculously it worked this time. Hummm! I asked about my earns that was supposed. To be I a hold status. I was today it will be released to the new acct tomorrow. Guess what I called today, it was not , as a matter of fact I was told the money went out to the wrong acct the previous day. So that 90 min phone call was lies and the previous day was a lie too that the money would be held.
The money is not the biggest problem. My soon to be ex is not gonna give that money back and jnwill have to have my $375 per hour lawyer deal with it when we agree on our divorce settlement. It's going to cost me more than the the money I earned.
They lie and tell you any dam thing. I am so disappointed becuase I tried really hard to not be in this predicament. I don't know if I trust them any more to continue driving for them.
I've noticed for quite some time now , Uber has been overcharging my card , the emailed receipt never matches the charge on my banking statement. No easy way to contact Iber to rectify the issue . Basically they screw the customer and make it impossible for someone to easily contact them for quick results in getting our money back
I requested a ride with uber on 2/13/23. The ride one way was $10.91. I told the driver that I wanted him to stay and bring me back. He said that I had to add a stop. I tried and accidentally cancelled the ride. The driver was upset because he said he wouldn't get paid. I told the driver that I would pay him out of pocket. So he told me $20. I said okay. I got the money from my bank, paid him he took me where I needed to go and then to my home. But uber is still charging for the first ride of $10.91 and also 17.91 for a stop and to my house. Total $28.82 that shouldn't come out of my account since t paid the driver what he told me pay him. The driver name was Adrian
I am a uber delivery driver I just want to share my experience. I feel they deceive me I accept 2 delivery 1st $8+ 2nd $10+ what I got after delivered is$6 for over22+ kilometers I called the support to discuss this matter but they transferred me in multiple persons. It's kinda sketchy the uber apps you wouldn't see what is the total cost of your trip you have to wait for 1 hour and after that you would be disappointed. I went for delivery for 3 to 4 hours I earn $45 my gas is $30 I only have $15 left $5 dollars per hour what I earn. It's stressful I won't gonna work in this company.
I called Uber so I can talk to someone and the lady let me know that I couldn't talk to someone higher then her..This lady was rude and disrespectful. Because they know that no one knows where they be but wrong I know someone that works there.. Hey B***H on the way
Worst experience ever with customer service. App wasn't working or online. We were stuck at Phoenix airport for over an hour talking with someone named Jake to help us get a ride. We kept trying to verify our account but it wouldn't work. We are new to Uber. We kept trying to get a new person to help us but he wouldn't get us someone else. Ended up getting a taxi. Terrible terrible terrible.
The worst Customer Service ever! They updated their APP recently and It does not work on my Android phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled the APP several times and when I input my phone # in, it comes up with the same message over and over: Check your connection and try again??? There is nothing wrong with my connection...I can order a ride from Lyft with no problem. Contacting CS through their stupid Help section on my home computer, I get responses like it's a robot talking. They never actually read the complaint/problem you are having and their standard reply is asking you for a screen shot of the issue. I hate them! The only reason I have to use them is their prices are cheaper than LYFT and they have more cars available, LYFT takes forever to get you a ride as they are always cancelling the drivers. There should be a law that requires them to have a CS phone # for such a huge greedy company!

When I originally signed up for Uber Eats, there was a promotional offer for new drivers. The details were that if you complete your first 10 deliveries in the first week after signing up, you would receive a $250 bonus. Uber "support" over the phone lied to me by telling me I would receive it. They are literally trained to lie to you if they think you're ignorant and they can get away with it. One of their support "supervisors" told me that I could call back and ask for him specifically. That was just another lie, you cannot request a specific person as it is against their policy.
Recently I was scammed by somebody CLAIMING TO BE UBER SUPPORT, and almost $500 was stolen from my account, and after Uber's investigation froze my account for an entire week, they refused to help me. That actually ACCUSED ME OF LYING, and sharing my account with a FRIEND, and they told me that I was violating their terms of service, when I was the one who was hurt. After I received their highly offensive response, I called support back. When I called back, the woman told me that I WOULD DEFINITELY RECEIVE my money back, and the next person said I would not.
This company trains their employees to lie. I know this to be a fact through many, many experiences. You've been warned.
The app is also extremely unreliable. The bugs and glitches are so bad, I have to restart the app after every single order. But first I have to pray that Uber gives me the correct address. It's wrong 30% of the time.
Also, when your tips end up equalling MORE than your base pay, you know they're corrupt. Unsurvivable wages. Your valuable time is best suited for literally any company that is NOT Uber.
Horrible customer service. When I tried to add a tip after getting a ride, it came back saying there was an error, my tip was not added, and to try back later. I was never able to get back to where I could add a tip, and everything told me I had to go to the Driver APP to find "help." Apparently you can't get to "help" without downloading the APP, which I'm not going to do. I'm 68 years old, and not good at finding things online. After looking online for an hour, I found a phone number to call, but when I pushed the button for something other than booking a ride, it gave me the APP info and hung up. I called back and pushed the option to book a ride, figuring I would at least get a person, but after explaining what I was trying to do, he told me the same thing. I asked for a phone number, but he started talking, telling me the same nonsense over and over, refusing to pause for even a second so I could say anything. What a joke. I now know it is impossible to speak with anyone if I ever need assistance for anything, so I have used Uber for the last time. So your driver did not get a tip, and you couldn't care less. I have tried for long enough. You guys suck.
I had Pre-booked an Uber (2 days in advance - with Uber app proudly claiming you could book up to 30 days in advance?) from my home to the airport - I had a flight leaving at 13:30 and I booked the ride fo 10:30 knowing I needeed to be at the airport for an international flight 2 hours before check in.
At 10:30 on the day I was ready with my bags packed - and ONLY at 10:30 when the driver was scheduled to PICK ME UP did the Uber app cancel the ride saying no driver was available.
What a useless service. No prior warning of the app not having a driver avaialble. What's the point in pre-booking if you're not even going to be notified well enough in advance?
Nevermind 1 star. ZERO stars. I won't use Uber again. Ever.
I attempted to contact customer service urgently as I REALLY NEEDED THE PROBLEM SOLVED RIGHT AWAY. Attempted being the keyword.

Uber is a worst company, customer service people , they have zero knowledge about the product and service, you ask any question they gave you the irrelevant answers, which is not really close to the question, totally ignorant, they put the account on hold , and don't give you any response, if you inquire about ,
Uber the is worst I hope that another ride-share comes in and delete Uber out completely they have no consideration for the customers but it makes sense because of the way they treat their drivers is just as awful. Their app glitches if you're not looking it changes the address on it's own to something different then you've lost your money and food like I did.
Absolutely awful ordered food couldn't update payment info tried to order a ride home with my uber bucks already on the account more then enough to cover the ride then some.below freezing outside and I'm stuck with no ride and uber already has the money. Customer service was no help on both issues and it's sickening
